Day 25 Challenge Resources
In our previous challenge (Day 15), an auto shop sent emails to customers every six months recommending services based on their car’s mileage at the time of their last service. The marketer then dynamically displayed these services in the email for each customer. The team wants to visually upgrade the email template and retrieve recommended services as content blocks based on the service code for each mileage.
For today’s challenge, you can use a new email template. You can access the template from the table below. The template has multiple slots for content blocks. You can download all HTML content blocks used in the email below. The order of content blocks can be as follows: Code > Title > Paragraph > Service Content Blocks.
To retrieve the content block using the ContentBlockByName
function, you must add a new column called Code
to the Services
dataset. In addition, update the Customer Key for the services content blocks to match the eligible services. For instance, the Customer Key for the Brake Check service could be “service_6435”.
Name | Description | Code | Mileage |
---|---|---|---|
Brake Check | Inspect a car’s brakes to ensure that they are working properly and safely. | 6435 | 80000 |
Fluid Checking | Check the levels of various fluids in a car such as brake fluid and coolant. | 5401 | 40000 |
Oil Change | Replace the oil in a car’s engine. | 4538 | 40000 |

If you downloaded and built your email using the provided content blocks, your email will look like the following.
